The ICP HBUS Miniature ultra slim brake is a compact design for saving installation space. It provides high torque, low power consumption and efficiently reduces the temperature of the brakes.
Operation: Once energised with 24VDC, a controller will provide the 12VDC or 7VDC to hold the brake in the release position. When the power is turned off, the electromagnetic field dissipates, then the brake locks.
The ICP range of Ultra slim holding brakes are electromagnetic power-off safety brakes which engage when the electrical power supply is off.
Power-off electric safety brakes can be used as a holding brake to safely stop and hold rotating shafts even if power is cut off.
